expecting a miracle baby

I truly enjoyed doing this maternity session for a very dear friend of mine. Red (as known by her online friends) was 36 weeks pregnant, expecting her miracle baby after many, many devastating loses. Red is an amazing mom to her firstborn, but also an incredible testimony of faith in God. I love her and am proud of her and was honored to do her special photos - my first maternity session (not counting self-portraits :). Baby Asher arrived 2 weeks later. So incredible happy for my sweet friend.

Noah & Micah

These two handsome brothers (age 2 and 1) were so good in the studio. Mom and dad were nervous they were not going to cooperate at all, and who wouldn't with two little active boys.. but they did super! Although I did have to be quick with the camera. Mom and dad were so pleased to finally get some pictures of the boys together, and were excited for the Christmas gifts they could give to the family members. What a fun session and what a beautiful family!

 

 

 

  

Kaleb {age 5}

Just have to share some Fall and Winter images of my firstborn. He is such a handsome young man. I love being his mommy!!!

Jaxson {5 days}

Jaxson is so far the newest baby I have photographed, only 5 days old. It seems his parents may be in for a ride because in spite of his age, he was not a very sleepy baby. It took him 1 1/2 hour to fall asleep even though he had been awake 2 hours prior, and even then he was never in a deep sleep. But what a cutie! I just LOVE photographing newborns!!

 

Liam {age 2}

I had a blast taking pictures of this very relaxed and fun family. We did at first attempt to take some pictures of Liam in my studio but as any two year old boy sitting still was not an option, so we opted for the outdoors. In my current house I have the forest in my backyard and love it for photo options.
